That was seductive, that was irresistible.
The parasol of comforting anonymity...
Guarding the fire simmering between us
Guarding the sweet nonsense kissed upon my heart
Or spoken silently with a glance
Unmistaken between us,
Incomprehensible to everyone else
You tired, didn’t you?
I looked around for you…
You weren’t there.
Somehow I thought you’d always be…
Seething now, exhausted now, sleeping now.
Time boxed
Regretting life whiled away in trifles and laziness.
